Chelmer Truck is a family run company having well over 25 years in the business. Tim Maxted, the Managing Director, is involved in the day to day running of the business, design and sales.

He is ably assisted on the Production side by Jon Maxted and Mike Taylor who use Chelmer Trucks buying power to get the best price for materials to keep us as competitive as possible.

Chelmer Truck has a dedicated in- house CAD facility using state of the art equipment.

Chelmer Truck offers full paintshop facilities and is run by Chris Maxted, the Paintshop Manager, who uses his considerable experience to complete the job to the highest standard. Robbie Maxted is the Company Secretary & Director keeping a firm control on the financial side of the business.

Chelmer Truck has a very experienced workforce with many years of experience between them. All members of the company including the management have trained on the shop floor giving a very practical management structure.

Chelmer Truck produces all types of body work using the best possible materials available to save weight and to hold off corrosion as long as possible. We build to customers' detailed specification offering a high standard at all times with the quality & efficiency that our regular customers come to expect.
